Summer School on Land Use and Ecosystem Change

will take place at the KITCampus Alpin, IMK-IFU (Garmisch-Partenkirchen) in August 2019. Master and doctoral students are invited to learn about and discuss on a wide range of issues related to ecosystem functioning, socio-ecological systems and land use change.

The anthology, co-edited by Caroline Kramer, discusses concepts and perspectives of a fair timely city for planning practice. Available (in German) from the Akademie für Raum-forschung und Landesplanung.

The DFG grants Thomas Wieland (AG Gesellschaft) a research project on the spatial impact of online trade. It deals with the causes and motives of online shopping.

Biodiversität der Flussauen Deutschlands
