Sara Ehrlich is working as researcher (PhD candidate) at the Human Geography department of KIT.
Subject of thesis: „Consequences on the local and regional level during the Decommissioning of the local nuclear power plant“ (special focus on analyzing the strategies of concerned municipalities to handle the new situation and evaluate these under resilience criteria).

2010 - 2011 Research assistant at Heidelberg University, Geography Department, Project: DFG-Projekt SenTra (Psychologie und Geographie, Heidelberg), analyzing mobility of elderly people with the help of GIS-technology.
2009

Master Thesis in cooperation with the Institute for socio-ecological Research in Frankfurt/Main about on the idea of decentralizing the urban waste water disposal for a more sustainable development of the city of Chemnitz.

  Sara Ehrlich studied Geography, Ethnology and Economics at Mainz University.

  • BMBF-Project: „Technische, wirtschaftliche, soziale und politische Folgen durch den Rückbau eines Kernkraftwerks auf regionaler und lokaler Ebene – Analyse aktueller Beispiele in Baden-Württemberg zur Erstellung eines Zukunftsmodells (FoRK)“
